Pierre Lane

Pierre Lane is an Associate Professor in Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University with an affiliate appointment at UBC's School of Biomedical Engineering. He is a Principal Investigator at BC Cancer Research Centre.

Research Focus: Development of optical imaging tools for early cancer detection and management, including optical coherence tomography, confocal microscopy, and autofluorescence imaging applied to lung, oral cavity, and cervical cancers.

• Autofluorescence Imaging (AFI) for early cancer detection
• Dual modality OCT-AFI systems
