Pia Tingström is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH), part of the Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV) at Linköping University. She serves as Department Head and Unit Manager, while also directing the Graduate School in Medical Pedagogy at HMV.
Her research spans multiple interconnected areas, including interprofessional education, team collaboration in clinical practice, and improving care for frail elderly patients through early infection detection. She emphasizes undergraduate healthcare education and problem-based learning (PBL) in cardiac rehabilitation and musculoskeletal pain management.
