Ghassan Mourad is an Associate Professor and Head of Unit at Linköping University's Department of Nursing and Reproductive Health (ORH), part of the Faculty of Medicine. He leads the nursing program and manages specialized courses while maintaining teaching responsibilities in cardiology and drug calculation. His research focuses on non-cardiac chest pain, mental health, and internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions. Mourad holds a Doctor of Medicine degree (2015) and has advanced nursing qualifications (Master's, 2003; Bachelor's, 1998).
Academic leadership roles include membership in the HMV Research Forum Network and the regional CESAR cardiovascular nursing research network.
