Phil Pellett

Professor Phil Pellett is a leading virologist at Wayne State University School of Medicine, specializing in human herpesviruses with a focus on human cytomegalovirus (HCMV). Previously, he served as Chief of the Herpesvirus Section at the CDC (1986-2003) and directed herpesvirus research at Cleveland Clinic (2003-2007), where he also held professorships at Case Western Reserve University and its affiliated Lerner College of Medicine.
