Peter V. Hall is a Professor in the Urban Studies Program at Simon Fraser University (SFU), Vancouver, Canada. He holds administrative roles as Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President Academic. His academic background includes a PhD from UC Berkeley (2002), MSc from LSE (1995), and BSocSc from University of Cape Town (1989). His research bridges geography, planning, and economics, focusing on port cities, seaport logistics, local labour markets, and community economic development.
