Dr. Peter Sozou is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Northeastern University London. He holds a BA from the University of Oxford and a PhD from Birkbeck College, University of London. His research spans theoretical biology, evolutionary biology, decision-making (including game theory and economic theory), medical decision-making, public policy, statistics, AI, inverse problems, and philosophy of science. He has contributed to interdisciplinary work bridging biology, economics, and computer science.
His teaching includes courses on business statistics and dynamic processes, with a focus on applied quantitative methods. He has supervised dissertations in areas like business analytics, economics, and medical decision-making. His academic work integrates computational models with empirical analysis, addressing topics such as evolutionary strategies, healthcare policy, and theoretical frameworks for scientific discovery.
Dr. Sozou’s publications explore diverse themes, from reproductive biology and aging mechanisms to decision-making under uncertainty.
