George Zouros

Dr. George Zouros is an Assistant Professor in Economics and Senior Tutor at Northeastern University London, where he teaches Mathematics, Statistics, and Further Mathematics. He holds a PhD in Philosophy of Science (2007, London School of Economics) and a PGCE in Mathematics (2009, King's College London). His academic journey also includes a BSc in Physics (1992, Queen Mary College) and an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces (1993, Imperial College London).

His research focuses on the philosophical foundations of quantum mechanics, particularly resolving paradoxes like the Popper experiment. Dr. Zouros has extensive teaching experience across multiple institutions, including LSE (since 1999), Northeastern University London (since 2015), and secondary education at City of London Academy. He emphasizes innovative teaching methods and has received teaching awards from LSE’s Philosophy, Mathematics, and Statistics departments.
