Peter Salovey is the President Emeritus and Sterling Professor of Psychology at Yale University, with secondary appointments in Chronic Disease Epidemiology, School of Management, Social and Policy Studies, and Sociology Department. He served as Yale’s president from 2013 onward, previously holding roles as provost (2008–2013), chair of Psychology (2000–2003), dean of Graduate School (2003–2004), and dean of Yale College (2004–2008).
