Professor Peter Pelzer is a faculty member at the Department of Urbanism, Architecture and the Built Environment faculty, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). His work focuses on long-term spatial planning, imagination paradoxes, and designing adaptable urban environments under climate uncertainty.
- 2021: Awarded Higher Education Premium by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) for the Mixed Classroom project.
- 2024: Elected National Lecturer of the Year in the Netherlands.
Pelzer’s research explores the tension between present-day interests and long-term spatial futures.
