Peter Keith serves as Centre Director of the eHub within the Technology Commercialization Centre and holds an academic appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Management at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. His work bridges institutional technology transfer with hands-on entrepreneurial education.
His core research and teaching interests focus on:
- Practical venture creation addressing economic/social challenges
- Integration of university innovation ecosystems (eHUB, ICE, SIC)
- Capstone experiential learning models
- Technology commercialization pathways
As educator, he directs the Integrative Capstone in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SEM 331), requiring students to develop ventures through interdisciplinary application of certificate program learnings. The course leverages university innovation centers and features practitioner guest speakers.
In his leadership capacity, Keith oversees eHub operations supporting faculty and student entrepreneurs in translating research into market-ready solutions. He maintains active collaboration with the Innovation and Commercialization Enterprise (ICE) and Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship (SIC) to strengthen Alberta's academic entrepreneurship pipeline.
