Dr. Peter Kail is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Official Fellow and Tutor in Philosophy at St Peter's College, University of Oxford. He specializes in the history of modern philosophy, particularly the works of David Hume, George Berkeley, and Friedrich Nietzsche. His academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he also served as a Junior Research Fellow and British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow. He has held visiting appointments at institutions such as the Newberry Library in Chicago and the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
