Dr Peter Garside is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Geography, Geology and the Environment at Kingston University's School of Built Environment and Geography. With over twenty years of experience, he specializes in urban/regional development and economic assessments for public/private institutions. Key projects include national studies on land use and affordable housing policy. His current research focuses on community health initiatives and the Felton Convening Partnership—a 7-year system-change project improving outcomes for children in West London.
Qualifications include:
- PhD in Human Capital and Urban Regeneration (Liverpool University)
- BA Hons Geography (University of Wales - Lampeter)
- FHEA and Prince Practitioner certifications
Research interests span economic development, housing policy, and community-based health interventions.
