Professor Peter Fjågesund is a scholar of British literature and cultural studies at the University of South-Eastern Norway, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities, Sports and Educational Sciences and the Department of Language and Literature. His work bridges Anglo-Scandinavian relations, travel literature, and macrocultural history from 1750–1930, with particular focus on polar history and center-periphery dynamics.
