Professor Peter Cameron is a leading academic and clinician in emergency and trauma medicine at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. He serves as Director of The Alfred Emergency Academic Centre and holds leadership roles in national registries such as the Victorian State Trauma Registry and the Burns Registry of Australia and New Zealand (BRANZ). His research focuses on trauma systems, resuscitation, and emergency care innovation, with over 700 peer-reviewed publications. Professor Cameron has led 80+ research projects, including NHMRC grants and collaborations on global health initiatives.
