Peter Bobkowski is Professor and Knight Chair in Scholastic Journalism at Kent State University's School of Media and Journalism. With 12 years of prior experience at the University of Kansas and seven years in high school journalism education, he researches journalism pedagogy, youth media practices, and information literacy. He co-authored the open-access textbook Be Credible: Information Literacy for Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing Students.
Research Focus: Dr. Bobkowski examines scholastic journalism education models, student media production, and information literacy development in digital environments.
