Peter Blanchard is currently a Research Scientist at Harvard University (Department: External). Previously, he served as a CIERA Postdoc at Northwestern University from 2019–2024. His research focuses on superluminous supernovae, tidal disruption events, gamma-ray bursts, and electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events. He is affiliated with the REACH program and has contributed to groundbreaking studies such as the analysis of the brightest gamma-ray burst linked to massive star collapse.
