Prof. Dr. Peter-Andreas Brand is an Honorary Professor at Humboldt University of Berlin's Faculty of Law, where he teaches civil procedural law and private international law. He is also a partner at HOME Lawyers, specializing in civil, commercial, corporate, and intellectual property law. His career includes roles as Head of the Office of the President of the German Bundestag, consultant for the Federation of German Industries (BDI), and legal advisor to the Archbishop of Berlin on child abuse cases. He holds a doctorate from the University of Göttingen and has practiced law in Hanover, London, and Berlin since 1986.
