Dr. Peter A. Hall is a Professor and Reader in Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts and Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. His research focuses on mapping, data visualization, and participatory design practices. He leads the Plastic Justice initiative, a pan-European collaboration addressing micro-plastics pollution through design-driven knowledge dissemination. Previously, he held roles including Course Leader at Central Saint Martins, Programme Director at Griffith University, and Senior Lecturer/Lecturer positions at the University of Texas at Austin and Yale School of Art. He co-founded DesignInquiry, a nonprofit fostering collaborative design research.
Research Interests include critical design methodologies, environmental sustainability in design, and the intersection of visualization with societal issues. He explores how design can engage communities in addressing complex ecological challenges through participatory practices.
