Petar Dundjerski is a Sessional Faculty member at the University of Alberta, serving as Conductor of the University Symphony Orchestra. He holds a B.Mus. from Brandon University and an M.Mus. in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Toronto. His career includes residencies at the American Academy of Conducting in Aspen and the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, under mentors such as Mark Gibson and Jorma Panula. He has held roles as Assistant Conductor with the National Academy Orchestra of Canada and Resident Conductor at the Banff Centre for the Arts.

His expertise focuses on orchestral conducting, music education, and instrumental training. He has received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts in 2003, 2006, and 2008, supporting his work with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Conductor-in-Residence under William Eddins.
