He frequently examines how early Christian theology emerged from and interacted with its ancient religious and cultural milieus.
His publications reflect a deep engagement with biblical interpretation, ancient religious texts, and the intersection of theology with historical context. He has also addressed modern theological debates, such as the interpretation of biblical ethics on contemporary issues like homosexuality.
