Penny Prenshaw is a Professor of Marketing in the Else School of Management at Millsaps College, where she has taught since 1994. She directs the Else School of Management’s BBA program, MBA program, and international business programs, while also serving as co-director of Business Pathways—a career development track for undergraduates—and faculty for ELSEWORKS entrepreneurship program where she teaches the graduate practicum.
Her educational background includes:
- B.S. in Marketing
- MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi
- Ph.D. from the University of Houston
Dr. Prenshaw’s research integrates Marketing Strategy with Consumer Behavior, emphasizing Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship within business education frameworks. Her work bridges theoretical marketing principles with practical applications in Global Marketing contexts, reflecting her commitment to advancing pedagogical approaches in Marketing Education.
Her publications span journals including the Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Marketing Education, Marketing Education Review, and Journal of the Academy of Business Education, demonstrating consistent contributions to marketing scholarship with focus on educational methodologies and consumer-centric strategies.
