Penni Pietilä is a visiting researcher at the Helsinki Inequality Initiative (INEQ) and affiliated with the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki. Their research focuses on the teaching of mother tongue and Finnish in vocational education, with a particular emphasis on how gender and social class influence everyday life in technical education institutions.
