Dr. Pelin Aklık is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Izmir University of Economics, where she has worked since September 2018. She holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Universitat für Bodenkultur Wien, Austria, earned with a full government scholarship.

- Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering, Universitat für Bodenkultur Wien (2012)
Her research focuses on Geotechnical Engineering, including soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical risk assessment. She has contributed to structural stability analysis in civil engineering contexts.
Dr. Aklık received a full scholarship from the Austrian Government for her doctoral studies. Her institutional affiliations include Dokuz Eylül University, Ege University, and Izmir University of Economics.
