Peggy Benedetti Andrews

Peggy Benedetti Andrews is a Lecturer in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development at the University of Minnesota. She holds a PhD in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota, an MA in Human Development from St. Mary’s University, and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Her work combines over 20 years of HR leadership experience with academic teaching focused on strategic HR management, team effectiveness, and adult career development.

Her research interests include high-impact teaching practices, sociological perspectives on maternal employment, and the psychological impact of white collar layoffs. She emphasizes interactive learning environments where students engage with organizational theories through case studies and co-curricular projects.

Andrews has presented widely on leadership development, business communication, and educational innovation at institutions like the Equity in Action Conference (2021), MOBTS Conference (2018), and AACSB Conferences (2018). Her presentations often bridge theory with practical applications in business education and organizational behavior.

She teaches courses including OLPD 3424-3426 (Sales Training/Practicum) and OLPD 3641 (Introduction to Organization Development). Professional affiliations include the Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (MOBTS).
