Dr. Pegah Naemi Jimenez is a Researcher at the School of Social Welfare, University of Kansas. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from KU and a master’s in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. Her work focuses on mixed-method research and evaluation of social programs, with a strong emphasis on racial equity and social justice. She currently contributes to projects like Kansas Strong for Children and Families and the Fatherhood FIRE program. Previously, she served as Principal Investigator on home visiting initiatives in Kansas and Missouri at the Center for Public Policy and Research.

Research Interests: Dr. Jimenez’s research integrates mixed methods to assess social programs, particularly in marginalized communities. She explores how systemic inequities impact program outcomes and advocates for anti-racist frameworks in policy and practice. Her work on family dynamics and identity formation adds depth to understanding intergenerational resilience.
