Elizabeth McFarlane is an Associate Professor of Public Health at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and an Associate Scientist in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her work focuses on early childhood intervention, maternal and child health equity, and home visiting programs to prevent maltreatment.

Her projects include Positively Moms (sponsored by O’Neill Foundation) and Maternal and Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting (HRSA, Hawaii Department of Health). Awards include the Pro Humanitate Medal and Herbert A. Raskin Child Welfare Article Award (2005).
