Helen Milojevich is a Research Scientist at the Center for Child and Family Policy within Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy. Her developmental psychology research focuses on preventing child maltreatment and mitigating the impacts of early adversity on children's health and well-being through evidence-based interventions.
Dr. Milojevich specializes in program evaluation and quality improvement for home visiting initiatives, examining how early adversity shapes child development and identifying strategies to enhance family engagement. Her work bridges clinical research with community implementation, emphasizing culturally responsive approaches to serving vulnerable populations.
Recent publications reveal consistent themes in home visiting program optimization, adverse childhood experience (ACE) mitigation, and developmental monitoring systems. Her research employs mixed methods including randomized trials and longitudinal analyses to evaluate interventions targeting at-risk families.
