Pavel Zhelyazkov

Professor Pavel Zhelyazkov is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research focuses on the dynamics of collaboration networks, including strategic alliances and venture capital syndication, analyzing how status, reputation, and competition influence firms’ collaboration decisions and performance.

He serves as an Associate Editor at Management Science and sits on the editorial boards of five prominent journals. At HKUST, he has mentored multiple postgraduate students and organized professional development activities, reflecting HKUST’s commitment to world-class research and scholar mentorship.
