Pauline Ford is a Professor and Deputy Provost at The University of Queensland (UQ). Previously, she served as the first woman Head of the School of Dentistry in the Australia New Zealand region. She graduated from UQ with a BDSc (Hons) in 1989, followed by a PhD in 2005. She holds additional qualifications in Higher Education and Public Health. Her research focuses on oral health equity, particularly for marginalized groups such as those with mental illness and the homeless. She investigates social determinants of oral health, tobacco use, and healthcare accessibility.
