Paula Nuttall is an Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art, where she earned her B.A. and Ph.D. Her research focuses on artistic exchanges between fifteenth-century Italy and Northern Europe, particularly Florence and the Netherlands. She authored the seminal work From Flanders to Florence: The Impact of Netherlandish Painting, 1400-1500 (2004) and has curated major exhibitions, including Face to Face: Flanders, Florence and Renaissance Painting (2013). She directs the V&A Late Medieval and Early Renaissance Year Course and lectures at the National Gallery and Christie’s Education.
