Dr. Paula Hild is a researcher at Trier University's Sustainable Regional and Urban Development Team since April 2023, focusing on green buildings and circular economy practices. Previously, she served as a Teaching Fellow in Human Geography at Trier University (2021-2023) and worked at the University of Luxembourg (2015-2021) and Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (2006-2015).

Her research examines sustainable management through green building practices, circular economy frameworks, and sustainability indicator development. She investigates how everyday user practices in buildings interact with environmental goals, particularly through the DFG-funded LIVEABLE project analyzing sustainable buildings in Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg.
Recent publications highlight her expertise in circular building practices, corporate sustainability, and environmental impact assessment. She co-authored works on sustainability indicators and contributed to European planning studies.
Dr. Hild supervises thesis projects at Trier University, including topics like zero waste strategies, barrier-free mobility, and Zapatista autonomy movements. She collaborates with Prof. Julia Affolderbach on the LIVEABLE project exploring sustainability practices in residential and work environments.
