Paula Geyh is a Professor of English at Yeshiva University, specializing in postmodern American and European literature, literary and cultural theory, and film studies. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory from the University of Pennsylvania (1994), an MA from the same institution (1990), and a BA in English, French, and German from Miami University (1979).
Her research focuses on postmodern urban life, spatial theory, and the cultural history of the 1960s. She has authored notable works such as CITIES, CITIZENS, AND TECHNOLOGIES (2009) and edited volumes like THE CAMBRIDGE COMPANION TO POSTMODERN AMERICAN FICTION (2017). She has received the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend Award.
Recent courses taught include Postmodern Fictions, Film Studies, and interdisciplinary seminars on the 1960s cultural history. Her work bridges literary analysis with broader cultural and technological critiques.
