Paula Fairfield is a Visiting Professor at the School of Design, University of Greenwich, within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is renowned for her sound design work on iconic TV shows like Game of Thrones and Lost, earning 10 Emmy nominations and one Emmy win. Her expertise spans film, TV, commercials, VR, immersive concerts, and installation art. She collaborates with visionary filmmakers such as James Cameron and Darren Aronofsky and has contributed to projects like Ocean of Tears, a sonic poem about grief.
Education: Graduate of NSCAD University. Career highlights include co-directing Canada’s Charles Street Video, a leading media art center, and exhibiting art in collections like the National Gallery of Canada.
