Paul Seidler

Paul Seidler is Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Southern California's School of Pharmacy. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, particularly protein aggregation pathologies in Alzheimer's disease and related tauopathies.

His laboratory employs structural biology and biochemical approaches to investigate pathological protein aggregation and develop therapeutic interventions. Current work examines cPLA2 activation in synaptic deterioration, selective inhibition of Hsp90 paralogs, and structure-based design of inhibitors targeting tau and amyloid-β aggregation.
