Paul Kerr

Dr. Paul Kerr is a Professor of Otolaryngology at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. He has held leadership roles including Head of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (2007–2019) and Residency Program Director (1995–2005). His research focuses on functional outcomes following head and neck cancer treatment, endocrine surgery, and hyperparathyroidism management. He has contributed to landmark studies on CPAP therapy for sleep apnea, intraoperative PTH monitoring in parathyroidectomy, and transoral laser microsurgery for laryngeal cancer.

Educations: MD (1987), BSc in Medicine (1987), both from the University of Manitoba. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (1992), Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology (1993).
