Paul Griffiths is the Challis Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney and a Domain Leader at the Charles Perkins Centre, a major interdisciplinary biomedical research institute. He specializes in assembling multi-disciplinary teams to address conceptual questions in the life sciences. His research focuses on philosophical issues in contemporary biology, biomedicine, and psychology, with a focus on evolutionary medicine and developmental systems theory. He has held significant awards including ARC Laureate and Federation Fellowships, and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and AAAS.
