Paul Coldwell

Professor Paul Coldwell is an artist and researcher specializing in printmaking, sculpture, and installation. He holds a Professorship at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts, University of the Arts London. His work explores themes of absence, loss, and the interplay between traditional and digital techniques in printmaking. Coldwell has exhibited globally at institutions including Tate, V&A, and MoMA, with notable solo exhibitions such as Natura Morte & other works (2023) and Picturing the Invisible (2019). He has curated exhibitions like Morandi’s Legacy; Influences on British Art and contributed to major publications including Print Quarterly. His research includes AHRC-funded projects like Picturing the Invisible, blending art and science.

Research Interests:
