Patrycja Kozik is a Researcher at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (MRC-LMB), University of Cambridge, leading a research group focused on dendritic cell biology and immune response initiation against pathogens and tumors.
Her research investigates signaling events, membrane trafficking pathways, and transcriptional programs controlling antigen processing in dendritic cells. She employs proteomics, transcriptomics, and CRISPR-Cas9 genetic screening to dissect molecular mechanisms of antigen cross-presentation and how danger signals from viral infections or tumor microenvironments modulate immune responses toward immunogenicity or tolerance.
Recent publications reveal trends in perforin-2-mediated endocytic escape, regulation of pore-forming proteins, and small-molecule enhancers for anti-tumor immunity, demonstrating translational focus on cancer immunotherapies through fundamental immunology.
Dr. Kozik's laboratory team includes Ritika Chatterjee, Isabella Cinti, Romina Koiffman, Patrycja Krawczyk, Purvanshi Patel, and Jacob Vincent.
