Patrik Lindskoug is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law, Lund University, serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Director of the Business Law Center (ACLU). He holds a Ph.D. in Law (2004) and specializes in property law, private international law, and Nordic comparative law. His research emphasizes insolvency law, cross-border legal harmonization, and EU internet law, with a focus on Nordic legal systems.
Education: PhD in Law (2004), Lund University. Previous affiliation: Copenhagen Business School (Denmark).
Research Interests: Property rights in transnational contexts, jurisdictional challenges in e-commerce, Nordic legal comparisons, and insolvency frameworks. His work bridges theoretical legal analysis with practical policy recommendations.
Publications: Over 60 publications since 1999, including books (e.g., Introduction to EU Internet Law) and chapters on digital contracts, jurisdictional conflicts, and Nordic legal systems. Recent focus on Danish-Swedish legal comparisons and vehicle theft prevention mechanisms.
Awards: Received the LUM Pedagogical Award (2024) for innovative teaching methods emphasizing student perspectives. Active in policy advisory roles, including submissions to national legislative bodies (SOU reports).
