Patrick McGrady

is a Lecturer at London College of Communication, teaching BA (Hons) Film and Television. He is a BAFTA-nominated TV Director, Producer, and Executive Producer, and serves as Creative Director of award-winning production company Wavelength Films.

Professional Achievements: McGrady has directed documentaries for major UK broadcasters, including Sean Bean on Waterloo (HISTORY), The Man Who Shot Tutankhamun (BBC4), and Wagner & Me (BBC2/BBC4), which premiered in cinemas globally and won the Audience Choice Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. His work Stephen Fry and the Gutenberg Press earned a BAFTA nomination.

Professional Affiliations: McGrady served on the PACT council and is a member of Directors UK. He has collaborated on projects like Andrew Marr on Churchill (BBC4), Felicity Kendal’s Indian Shakespeare Quest (BBC2), and the Royal Television Society award-winning Disappearing London series.
