Patrick Hayman

Dr. Patrick Hayman is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he serves as the coordinator of the Earth Science major. His research integrates field-based physical volcanology with geochemical and geochronological techniques to understand the formation of mineral deposits, particularly in Precambrian terranes across Australia, Canada, and West Africa. He teaches core courses including Earth Materials, Earth's Mineral Resources, and a specialized short-course for industry geologists and postgraduate students in Merimbula, NSW.
