Patricia H. Thornton is a Professor at Texas A&M University and Grand Challenge Initiative Faculty, focusing on Sociology and Entrepreneurship. She also serves as a Senior Research Fellow at HEC Paris' Center for Society and Organizations. Previously, she held positions at Duke University and Stanford University. Her research explores institutional logics, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, and grand challenges. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from Stanford University in 1993.
