M. Diane Burton is a Professor of Human Resource Studies at Cornell University's ILR School, with courtesy appointments in Organizational Behavior and Sociology. She previously held faculty positions at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School, joining Cornell in 2009. Her research focuses on organizational sociology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, examining how management systems affect firms and individuals.
