Patrice W. Hallock

Patrice W. Hallock serves as Associate Dean of Health Professions and Education and Professor of Education at Utica University's School of Health Professions and Education, where she holds a faculty position with active teaching and research responsibilities.

As an educational anthropologist, Dr. Hallock specializes in poverty-disability intersections, inclusive education frameworks, family advocacy systems, and infant mental health. Her research centers on supporting families of very young children with special needs impacted by socioeconomic challenges, with scholarly contributions including publications in Zero to Three and the book "One Step Forward, Two Steps Back" (2009) documenting Early Head Start family research.

Dr. Hallock teaches core courses in inclusion methodologies, diversity education, childhood special education techniques, and early intervention within the Education Program and Psychology-Child Life curriculum.
