Patrice Derrington is the Holliday Associate Professor and Director of the Real Estate Development Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). She holds affiliations with Columbia’s Financial and Business Analytics, Smart Cities, and Education centers. Prior to Columbia, she taught at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and held executive roles in global real estate firms, investment banking, and public policy initiatives. Her career bridges academia and industry, focusing on real estate finance, distressed asset management, and urban revitalization.
