Pascale Delpuech is a Research Officer and Operation Manager in Archaeology at DOUAISIS AGGLO's Directorate of Preventive Archaeology since 2007, and a permanent member of HALMA UMR-8164 (University of Lille, CNRS, Ministry of Culture). Her work focuses on archaeological field operations in the Nord department of France, particularly in the Ostrevent region and Scarpe valley.
Her research expertise lies in Iron Age and Antiquity studies, with special emphasis on territory and space occupation, habitat structures, funerary practices, and the forms, structuring, evolution and dynamics of enclosed settlements during the second Iron Age. She has conducted extensive fieldwork examining landscapes, settlements and rural territories from Metal Ages through Antiquity in the middle Scarpe valley region.
Delpuech's publication record shows a consistent focus on understanding territorial organization across chronological periods. Her work demonstrates particular expertise in identifying settlement patterns from the Hallstatt period through Roman occupation and into the early medieval period, with numerous studies documenting the transition from open to enclosed settlements and the evolution of rural territories over time.

She has directed numerous archaeological operations across Northern France, investigating sites from Sin-le-Noble to Douai, with special focus on understanding long-term territorial occupation patterns from the Protohistoric period through Antiquity into the early Middle Ages. Her methodological approach combines field excavation with landscape analysis to reconstruct settlement dynamics over extended chronological periods.
