Dr Parisa Gilani is a Professor in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at Bournemouth University, serving as Principal Academic in Leadership. She holds roles as Programme Coordinator for the MSc in Management with HR and Academic Lead for the BU Certificate in Programme Leadership. Her work contributes to UN SDGs including Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work, and Reduced Inequalities.
Education: PhD in Leadership (University of Exeter, 2014), MSc in International Management (University of Reading, 2007), BA in International Management (University of Reading, 2006). She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds memberships in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Chartered Management Institute.
Research focuses on leadership development, gender and diversity in male-dominated industries, and qualitative methodologies.
