Mark Ridolfo is a Principal Academic at Bournemouth University's AACSB-accredited Business School. He serves as Deputy Director of the Senior Leader Apprenticeship and Deputy Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Business and Management. With over 25 years at BU, he has held leadership roles including Associate Dean (Student Experience) and AACSB Assurance of Learning (AOL) Lead. His expertise spans enhancing the student experience, cross-cultural education, and international curriculum development.
Qualifications include a PG Diploma in Education (University of Plymouth, 2018) and a PG Diploma in Management (Bournemouth University, 2000). He is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
Research interests focus on student-centered learning, innovation in assessment, and global management competencies. He has delivered courses worldwide, including at CEIBS (China), ESC Amiens (France), and BINUS (Indonesia). Awards include BU's Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence (2018) and a BU Fellowship (2003) for international curriculum innovation.
External roles include External Examiner at Richmond, the American International University in London, and Visiting Lecturer at SRH Heidelberg and others. He actively contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and gender equality.
