Parisa Diba is a PhD Researcher in the Sociology, Social Policy, and Social Work pathway at Teesside University's School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law. Her PhD, funded by the ESRC via the NINE DTP scholarship, explores systems of supply and cultures of demand for image-enhancement drugs using ethnographic methods. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Sociology with Psychology from Teesside University, an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester, and a PGCert in Research Training from Newcastle University. Her research spans interdisciplinary fields including criminology, public health, and digital technologies.
