Pamela Orr is a Professor at the University of Manitoba, affiliated with the Max Rady College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, and cross-appointed to Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Community Health Sciences. She focuses on community-based partnerships with northern, rural, and inner-city urban populations to address health and wellness challenges.
- Education: MD (University of Toronto, 1978), FRCPC in Internal Medicine (University of Manitoba, 1988), Specialist Certification in Infectious Diseases (University of Manitoba, 1989), MSc in Community Health Sciences (University of Manitoba, 1994)
Her research spans infectious diseases, public health, health systems, and rural/circumpolar health, with a focus on community wellness, housing, and nutrition. She leads initiatives like the At Home in the North research group and contributes to HIV-STBBI and tuberculosis research networks.

Dr. Orr serves as Vice-President of the Circumpolar Health Research Network, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Circumpolar Health, and a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Human Rights Research. She is not currently accepting graduate students.
